TD-LTE Internet

Through this plan, the internet with free tariff (89 Rials per Megabyte) becomes unavailable and users need to purchase an internet package to access internet.

How to activate:

• MyIrancell app => My Account => Account Information => My Plan => Internet Usage Control
• This plan will become available 24 hours after activation.

With the Progressive Web Application new technology, the restrictions imposed by Apple Company won’t be any longer applied to iOS users in Iran. To fix the restrictions permanently please follow these steps:

• 1. Only on Safari explorer enter my.irancell.ir, go to the toolbar on the bottom of the screen and tap
• 2. Select the ‘Add to home screen’ option.
• 3. On the top right select ‘Add’.
• 4. A shortcut of “MyIrancell” app will be made on your home page. Click on it to login.
• 5. Enter your TD-LTE number to login to your account.
• 6. Enter your ID number (the one you had registered your TD-LTE with).
• 7. Enter an e-mail address to receive a one-time password.
• 8. You will receive an email containing a password.
• 9. On the app enter the password into the blank section.
• 10. From now on you could manage your account this way without any limitations.

Due to a law made by Communications Regulatory Authority (CRA) of The I.R. of Iran in 2015, concerning Authentication, Privacy and Safety issues on Cyberspace, all Telecommunication Operators are obligated to cooperate with Shahkar Central System. The main objective of this cooperation is to confirm the authentication of all users by registering in the Shahkar System. Also due to this regulation each user is not allowed to own more than 10 SIM cards.

Since MTN Irancell has been providing the TD service on SIM card platform, these services has been registered as GSM SIM cards on Shahkar System which was causing some inconvenience to the users. In order to solve this problem MTN Irancell and Communications Regulatory Authority (CRA) of The I.R. has reached an agreement to enable the users to own 10 GSM SIM Cards as well as 10 TD services by separating the service type on Shahkar system. Also MTN Irancell is now updating the service type on Shahkar system, for those users who have registered their TD services before February 2019. After the update, these users will receive an automatic text message from the System under “CRA.ir” Sender ID, as below:

"مشترک گرامی در تاریخ X یک عدد سرویس TDLTE به شماره Y با کد ملی شما در اپراتور ایرانسل ثبت گردیده است.در صورت وجود مغایرت به اپراتور مذکور مراجعه فرمایید."

After receiving this message the user’s account remains unchanged and there is no need for further action from the user.

You can refer to MyIrancell login page or go to New Account Creation section and click on “Forgot my TD-LTE number”. You then need to enter your National ID and modem IMEI to have your TD-LTE number displayed. IMEI is a unique code mentioned at the back of your modem and on its box.

The bill needs to be paid within 28 days and in case of failure to do so, the service will be deactivated.

The bills will be issued on a bimonthly basis and 1500 Tomans is always included as the subscription fee. TD-LTE invoice will be sent to the E-mail address registered in Customer profile

The cost will be calculated based on 8.9 Tomans/ MB tariff.

The service costs 0.06 Toman per kilobyte without the packages.

You can do so if your handset supports 3500 MHz frequency band. Otherwise, you can connect your handset to the modem like WiMAX and ADSL to use high-speed Internet.

No, as this technology is offered only through new modems which use SIM cards, you must purchase TD-LTE modems to be able to use the service.
